There are various other water system filters, some of which represent high technology. Reverse osmosis water filters make the water so pure is comparable to distilled. There are even ultraviolet light water purifiers. These UV water purifiers work by exposing water in a tube to the UV light to kill all the bacteria. This type of water filtration system is very common in third world resorts and hotels where there is a risk of virus, bacteria or even traces of feces in the drinking water. As you can see, no matter what you need out of a water filter you can find one that works for you. There are countertop models and under the sink models to suit your family.
